Washington State has no shortage of stunning mountain vistas. Located about thirty minutes west of Port Angeles, Mountain View Venue is a rustic, relaxed property in Eden Valley, just north of the coastal range of mountains. Situated in the foothills of the Olympic Mountains above the Strait of Juan de Fuca, the gorgeous farm venue boasts a spectacular mountain view to the south. With a panoramic view of the mountains and acres of spectacular pastures, fields, and farmlands, Mountain View Venue boasts a spectacular backdrop for a Port Angeles wedding day!
The ceremony site itself overlooks pastoral fields and rustic farm buildings. The site provides the best view on the property with expansive mountain views towards the south. A row of windbreak trees to the west borders the ceremony site. Orchards and spring-blooming trees dot the lawns to either side. The spacious barn on the property has ample space for dining tables. After dinner and dessert, hundreds of strings of white lights illuminate the dance floor!
The field to the north of the main house and barn is my favorite spot for sunset hour photos! A line of dark Douglas firs provides a dramatic backdrop. During the last moments before the sun sinks below the distant mountains, rays of sunlight stream across the field from the west.
Well, have I mentioned the mountain views? It’s hard to beat nearly 270 degrees of stunning peaks to the east, south, and west! Evergreens and alder forests cover the surrounding hills in a lush carpet.
The owners and staff are incredible! Every interaction I’ve ever had with the Andersons has been wonderful. They put so much work into maintaining their property beautifully and making every wedding day the best it can be!
The atmosphere is so relaxed and welcoming. There’s nothing uptight or stuffy to be found here! Your guests can really unwind and take in the scenic beauty of the Olympic Peninsula!
