Kiana Lodge is a beautiful wedding venue located along the eastern shore of the Kitsap Peninsula on Agate Pass. This is a narrow waterway between the peninsula and Bainbridge island. A gorgeous, tranquil, and iconic location for forest weddings in Northwest Washington State, Kiana Lodge is imbued with the history and culture of Puget Sound. You’ll drive under towering evergreens when you arrive at the Kiana Lodge wedding venue. Parking is available in a secluded parking lot. Ferns and rhododendrons line the walkway that will take you toward the main Lodge.
A vaulted timber-framed ceiling adorns the Garden Atrium, from which a series of beautiful lantern-shaped lights hang. The translucent panel-covered roof allows filtered light to enter the reception space. The spacious atrium can accommodate up to 350 guests during an indoor reception. The building is surrounded by a picturesque pergola and a spacious patio full of seasonal flowers, hanging baskets, as well as potted plants. In addition, there are areas with small groupings of tables and chairs for relaxed conversation and cocktail hour.
Landscaped lawns and gardens surround the two main buildings and feature blooming shrubs and flowers. Aquatic plants, footbridges, and fountains adorn a pond surrounded by lush plantings. You can hold your ceremony on a deck that perches over the beach, offering views of Bainbridge Island and the Agate Pass Bridge. Alternatively, they can occur on the expansive lawns or directly on the beach.
Kiana Lodge is conveniently located just a 30-minute ferry ride and a short drive from downtown Seattle. In addition to enjoying the amenities of the city, out-of-town guests can enjoy the scenic natural landscape of the Puget Sound peninsulas and islands. Bainbridge Island and Poulsbo have ample accommodations, restaurants, and other activities to choose from if your guests want to explore before or after your wedding festivities.
If you picture getting married surrounded by towering evergreens with panoramic views of the waters and islands of Puget Sound, then you can’t afford to overlook the Kiana Lodge wedding venue!
