I can hardly believe it happened—the little boy I grew up with is a grown-up married man, with a gorgeous lady he can call his wife. Wife! I know he wakes up and looks at her every morning with stars in his eyes. This kid is a hopeless romantic, ya’ll, and Angela is set to be treated like a princess for the rest of her life. And for good reason! In the short time I’ve known her, she’s shown that she’s as lovely inside as she is outside. I’m so, so, unequivocally happy for these two! Their wedding day went by in a happy blur, but I’ll never forget what an honor it was to watch Lucas stunned speechless when he saw Angela for the first time, and witness their vows of marriage to one another.
Angela’s wedding day gift to Lucas was a sleek black wristwatch:
A city park in downtown Vancouver was a beautiful setting for relaxed portraits of the Bride and Groom together.
Angela’s exquisite taste showed in her jaw-dropping lace gown and chic baby’s breath florals, as well as the golden and glittery reception decor. Downtown Vancouver made such a fun backdrop for some chic city portraits! As we made our way back to the church through the streets of Vancouver we paused to catch these next images, and they’re some of my favorites from the day! And then as if my heart wasn’t already full to bursting, my little guy walked down the aisle with the wedding party, hamming it up the whole way!
