How long will it take?

Where do you want to go?

Why Olympic?

Besides the incredible diversity of the landscape, from wild ocean coasts dotted by rugged seastacks to alpine mountain peaks and towering emerald forests, Olympic remains somewhat less traveled than some of the more well-known parks. If you want to get that feeling of standing at the edge of the known world, inhaling the humid moss-scented air surrounded by a cathedral of evergreens or walking on a beach rarely traveled by crowds, Olympic is your place.

Most couples start with two hours for getting ready + the elopement ceremony itself. Don't forget to account for the time it may take to hike in to the location you have in mind—and of course we'll be taking photos all along the way! Then I recommend adding one additional hour per additional location, plus travel time in between!

The sky is the limit -- within a day, it's easy to get from the snowy peaks down to the crashing waves and everything in between! My hiking boots are ready to go, although probably still coated in mud from my last adventure! If you're looking for ideas, check out the list of galleries below ↡↡↡

If you’ve found your way here, we probably already have something in common— a love for the incredible beauty of northwest Washington, and the Olympic peninsula in particular! From the peaks of the Olympic Mountains to the lush forested hillsides and mossy cathedrals of the Hoh Rainforest, to the sapphire lakes and wild ocean coastline, Olympic National Park, Olympic National Forest, and the entire Olympic Peninsula is one of the most ecologically diverse regions in the country. Are you captivated by the alpine heights and stunning wildflowers? Do you swoon for the rocky tidal beaches with their breathtaking seastacks and pounding surf? Or do you dream of wandering under one of the densest forest canopies in the world, inhaling the moss-scented air and meandering through the lush carpet of ferns? From waterfalls to wildflowers, the Olympic Peninsula is a dream destination and an ideal spot for a scenic engagement or elopement!

Having grown up on the remote Olympic Peninsula, I'm forever in love with it's wilds and wilderness. From the ocean beaches to the mountain peaks and everything in between. I know dozens of locals-only locations, in addition to all the tourist highlights, and I'm always up for an adventure to a new spot—the Peninsula is always surprising me with new-to-me nooks and crannies. If you already have a spot in mind or if you need some inspiration, drop me a note!
