Friday morning I hit the road and drove down to Vancouver, Washington. I had butterflies in my stomach the whole way! My “baby” cousin Lucas had planned a surprise proposal to his lovely girlfriend Angela and I was invited to document the whole thing. Obviously, he’s no baby… but I’ll always be 4 1/2 years older than him, so I get to call him that. Luke and Angela have had a whirlwind courtship over the last few months and she’s going to make an amazing addition to the family. No kidding, we’re getting a gem! And yes, I mean “we.” Clearly I consider myself something of a “big sister” to Lucas. I love getting to participate in a love story this way—the wedding is planned for later this year! Congrats Lucas & Angela!
