Hey there! Welcome to my blog—Make yourself comfy and look around! As an Olympic Peninsula, Olympic National Park, San Juan Islands, Seattle, Whidbey Island, and destination wedding photographer, I want to be a resource for you as you put together your own wedding day. Browse around, have a look, and let me know your questions! I'm so happy you're here, and I hope you want to get in touch so we can chat about your wedding day.
The late afternoon sun winked in and out of the clouds during Michelle and Bradley’s romantic Alki Beach engagement session, providing the perfect mix of diffused and golden light. Just south and west of downtown Seattle, Alki feels like a little beach town with a laid-back vibe, cafes and restaurants, and gorgeous panoramic views of the downtown skyscrapers, Magnolia, Queen Ann, and the Puget Sound. Ferry traffic from Vashon and Bainbridge Islands sails steadily back and forth, and the hustle and bustle of the city feels so far away. The beaches at Alki and southwest West Seattle are so lovely for a romantic couple’s portrait session, with gentle waves lapping the pebbled shore and just a hint of the Kitsap and Olympic Peninsulas across the narrow stretch of Puget Sound. Sunset is the perfect time to be on the beach, whether for a volleyball game, a beach picnic, or a leisurely walk with your sweetie! Michelle wore the sweetest yellow sun dress and Bradley kept things classic and masculine with a button-down collared shirt and jeans. It was a joy to capture their affection and laughter—I can’t wait to celebrate with them at their Tracy Castle wedding in October!
