2013 Groom Style [Washington Wedding Photographer]

Around the wedding world, brides tend to get most of the spotlight. But I wanted to show the guys some love too! 2013 boasted some very well-dressed gentlemen and their groomsmen.

There’s nothing like a classic portrait of a groom, waiting to see his bride. The anticipation in his stance is palpable. I love this shot of Vimal from his Spokane wedding last May; knowing that his beautiful bride was waiting just yards away in the hotel made the moment electric!

One thing I can always count on is for the groomsmen to bring a certain spirit of… let’s say… spontaneity to the portrait session. I’m always thankful to the guys when they can help a nervous groom loosen up and enjoy the day.

Guys may not have the same variety of stylistic choices that brides do, but they never fail to show some sartorial personality in unexpected ways!

Can’t forget the little guys! Sometimes they have a tendency to steal the spotlight…
