Laura and Jamie’s intimate Cutting Garden wedding in Sequim Washington was perfect. Surrounded by only their closest family and friends, the bride and groom said their vows in a flower garden at the peak of its glorious bloom in front of a yellow farmhouse. Laura’s purple details were accentuated by an effusion of flowers in a field of waving grasses. The Olympic Mountains made the ideal backdrop for the sunny day.
The ceremony aisle was lined with buckets of flowers and a garland of tulle. Laura’s father walked her down the aisle where Jamie waited to see his bride. Laura’s wedding gown was embellished with tiny lace flowers and her bouquet featured peonies, roses, lilies, anemones, and bachelor’s buttons.
The Cutting Garden provided the perfect location for relaxed, natural portraits of the bride and groom after their wedding ceremony. Laura and Jamie were obviously ecstatic to be married to one another. Their pure joy showed on their faces as they talked and laughed with one another, cut into a delicious cake, and celebrated the beginning of marriage in the company of their nearest and dearest.
