Scenes from Summer

Whew! What a whirlwind wedding season! Although the swirling leaves in the Seattle streets tell me that fall is here to stay, it’s hard to believe. My days and nights are spent pouring over luminous imagery from incredible summer weddings — it’s like I have my own personal cache of sunshine in a folder on my laptop. I had the immense privilege of getting a chance to create some of my best work this summer, and I’m so excited — and nervous — to start putting it out into the world. In the meantime, here are a few phone images from a summer spent on the road. Sometimes it’s surreal to be a wedding photographer in the Pacific Northwest. There’s nothing I’d rather do than hit the road and spend my time making incredible portraits of adventurous people in breathtaking locations.
