I’m having trouble acknowledging that 2015 is coming to an end in a matter of a few short hours! It’s been such an incredible, surprising, and challenging year in so many good ways. I’m always amazed by the clients I get the opportunity to work with. The fact that I get to travel to such beautiful places in the Pacific Northwest and photograph couples celebrating their love stories surrounded by their family and friends is always a little bit surreal to me! The honor of being included in such an incredible moment in people’s lives is such a singular experience, and every time I walk away amazed and humbled and so, so grateful for the job that I get to do.
This year took me to some of my old favorite destinations, and brought me to a few new favorite locations as well! Here are some stats from the year:
-22 weddings photographed as the primary photographer
-8 weddings photographed as a second or associate shooter
-Over 87,0000 photos taken
-43 individual photography sessions sessions (including weddings, engagements, and families)
-Countless miles driven, lattes consumed, and
Some of the destinations I’ve visited across the Pacific Northwest and Western Washington: Lake Quinault, Lake Crescent, Hurricane Ridge, Arlington, Mount Vernon, Lake Wilderness, Anacortes, Eagle Cove on San Juan Island, Seiku, Ruby Beach, Friday Harbor on Whidbey Island, Lake Stevens, and Fort Worden in Port Townsend. All I can say is thank you, to everyone who follows my blog or Facebook page or Instagram, and most of all to the wonderful couples and families who choose me to document their lives. I hope the images mean as much to you as they do to me. All in all, it’s been an incredible year, and I’m so excited to see what 2016 has in store! Happy New Year everyone!
A huge thank you to Brit Solie of Solie Designs, Ali Horman Photography, B.Jones Photography, and Jenna Bechtholt for the opportunity to shoot alongside you!
