Bailey and Tyler celebrated their Maroni Meadows wedding on a misty fall day in early September. Just at the cusp of the change in seasons between summer and fall, the luminous gray skies created the most gorgeous overcast light for photos of the couple around the gorgeous property. We even got a few sunbreaks throughout the day — don’t miss the incredible golden-hour photos of the bride and groom after the ceremony! They’re without a doubt some of my favorites from the day.
Bailey & Tyler chose to have their wedding at Bailey’s parents’ property in Snohomish, Washington. For anyone local to the area or in the wedding industry, Maroni Meadows is an incredibly well-known venue! When I heard I was going to have the honor of photographing the wedding of the daughter of the owners of Maroni Meadows, I knew I was in for a special day! Maroni Meadows has become an extremely popular Snohomish wedding venue in the past few years. It was a treat to see it through the eyes of the owners as they hosted their own daughter’s wedding!
This spectacular late-summer wedding at Maroni Meadows was the perfect mix of laid back boho vibes and magical forest atmosphere. Maroni Meadows is all your Washington forest wedding dreams come true!
Bailey got ready for her wedding day in the adorable bridal cabin on the property. The cabin is surrounded by towering deciduous trees, creating a cozy and sheltered atmosphere. Deni and Jackson, the Bride’s parents and property owners, put so much work into the landscaping of the venue. And it shows!
With mimosas in hand, Bailey and her bridesmaids had a relaxing morning together inside the quaint cabin. After getting ready, Bailey and Tyler enjoyed a sweet “First Look” moment right outside, but not before Bailey snuck a first look of her own out of the cabin’s tiny window!
The entire day took place on the expansive property under a lush canopy of cottonwoods and alders. If you’re looking for a Washington State Forest Wedding Venue that isn’t the typical coniferous fir and cedar forest-scape, you’ve found it! Deni and Jackson have spent years cultivating verdant exotics like bananas, hostas, palms, and begonias that create a verdant jungle in the already-lush landscape of Northwest Washington State.
The wedding ceremony took place under an arbor spectacularly decorated by Flowers by Tiffany with white roses and hydrangea. Afterwards, the guests joined the Bride and Groom for dinner under a glamorous tent, toasts, and a dessert buffet. Bailey, Tyler, and their family, friends, and guests danced late into the night on the venue’s rustic wooden dancefloor.
The venue is located in the heart of Snohomish, surrounded by towering cottonwood trees, and landscaped to perfection with both native species and exotic tropicals. If you’re looking for a Northwest Forest Wedding venue with a little tropical flair, you’ve found it! Maroni Meadows is a lush, emerald jewel of a venue in Snohomish county. A Maroni Meadows wedding offers all the benefits of beautiful Washington wilderness and scenery with the advantages of being within an easy driving distance from downtown Seattle.
As a Snohomish and Olympic Peninsula wedding photographer, I photograph a lot of beautiful weddings around the Pacific Northwest. Some on the islands and more rural areas of northwest Washington, some in the more urban downtown of Seattle, and others in the spectacular farmlands of the greater Puget Sound. Something I especially love as a Washington Wedding Photographer is having the chance to see so many amazing Washington Forest Venues. I love when I get to meet the owners of the venue and chat with them about their property. Moreover, it means I work regularly around the Snohomish area and I’m familiar with the best locations, the lighting around these rustic wedding venues, and how to get the best photographs year-round. This is my backyard, after all. I love being a Snohomish wedding photographer!
