There’s something completely magical about seeing the familiar mountains and evergreen hills of Olympic National Park dusted with snow! While this winter was one for the record books, I’m so happy that I had the chance to capture these engagement images for Marie & Jason at one of my favorite spots on the shore of Lake Crescent. We wandered through the meadow at Storm King Ranger Station as the sun dipped towards the sapphire and emerald waters of the lake. I couldn’t have arranged for more perfect lighting had I special-ordered the forecast myself! The golden hour light was incredible and turned the glacial lake water into shimmering gold where it reflected the soaring, tree-covered slopes. What made this session even more of a delight was the gorgeous bouquet by Lake Farm Floral that perfectly complemented the creams and tweed of Marie’s ensemble!
