Olympic National Park Engagement | Tiffany & Brett

I got to take some sweet portraits with the adorable Tiffany & Brett at Barnes Point on Lake Crescent — In my humble opinion, late summer is it’s own season in the PNW—it feels like the transition to fall is drawn out slowly, summer warmth lingering while the leaves are just starting to hint at turning to fall colors. The bleached gold of summer grass contrasting against the emerald greens of lush conifers is possibly my favorite color combo, unless we start talking about the azure aquamarine waters of Lake Crescent and the shades of forest and sky reflected on its surface.

After we traipsed through the meadow for a while, we started up the trail to Marymere falls—a few minutes into the walk, the rain really started coming down and we opted to cut the hike short. But not before we stopped for a few last photos under a log bridge! No PNW local is a stranger to a rainy hike, although most hikers don’t look as glam as Tiffany did in a long red skirt and heels!
